Overcoming our "dragons" & becoming one with our true, goddess selves : a book club and support group.

Step-by-Step Guide to Slaying Your Dragons

Hi everyone! Here is a growing list of the things that helped me to finally overcome depression and are presently helping me to kick my anxiety and other "dragons" in the butts! If you're ready to start slaying, try beginning with the first step and adding one each week or at whatever pace works for you. I love taking things step by step, because by the time you add the next step, the former ones are starting to feel easy and habitual and becoming a part of a healthier lifestyle. This list may look daunting, but you'll be amazed what you can handle if you make one healthy choice at a time! I started with the first step on this list in October of 2012, adding the next step each week. Now all of these steps are comfortably a part of my lifestyle. I'm not trying to brag; I'm just so amazed at how much I've grown, how much I've been able to handle, and how fantastic I feel in my mind, body, and spirit!

Click the links to read more about each (they're not as hard or unachievable as they may look). Keep in mind that I was already a vegetarian when I started these steps, which may be important to consider and try if you're working towards overcoming your dragons through health and balance.
